About Me

My name is Josh Peacock. I’ve been studying martial arts for over 16 years. I hold a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo under the AAU, and I’ve been training in BJJ for 2 years. My passion is teaching martial arts, and teaching it well. This, in part, led me to earn a Master of Education in Teaching & Learning from Liberty University. My purpose with this blog is to apply scientific principles of education and motor learning research to the teaching and learning of martial arts. And my goal is to promote this sort of evidence-based practice among martial arts instructors around the globe!
